Something for the weekend sir?
Well in my attempt to reduce the fleet and as the Road runner has gone to pastures new and Old yella has been languishing, sorned in the tent at the back of the yard, due to low oil pressure when hot, so thought before the snow set in I would pull the lump to get it sorted over Christmas.
So she can be sold running in the new year

keep it mopar !
Chally that old girl is so sweet and to be used as a daily is just fantastic.
I bought this old girl because she was made the same month I was born.
Which makes her 61 years old.
Unfortunately she is in better nick than me for all those years there is not one bit of rot on her, where possible I have kept all her patina completely original, I just love the wear marks on the drivers door where your arm naturally hangs while driving.
Unfortunately I have spent probably twice what she is worth getting her back into A1 mechanical order that she left the factory all those years ago.
the only non original part is the box I just could not live with the crash box in all gears coming down a hill trying to change down into second was scary, so replaced it with a brand new version of the 52 onward box which has syncro on 2,3and 4.
It still has straight gears on 1 and reverse.
Some may notice it is an F2 version that is it had an 8ft bed and is 3/4 ton capacity as opposed to 1/2ton.
1st gear is just to get you rolling unless you want to pull tree stumps out and the top speed is 70ish after which the front suspension takes over the steering for you and you become a passenger.
She has the 7AH 4200 straight 6 engine which puts out 98hp surprisingly the 8AH V8 is heavier and only gives 100hp
she is in completely original condition even down to the 6 volt wiring and vac operated single wiper and radio delete dash.
