Blue and I bought it as a joint venture and we paid considerably less than £12k for it.
"Nah!"

Looks good, blue will make it stunning. I looked at one years ago that was very similar-when you turned the steering the shock tower moved nearly as much as the wheel!

The only other FC7 Cuda with an EHJ plate that I know of is this 440-6 car. Haven't seen it in about 10 years.

Didn't it belong to a guy called Alan Gregory? Paul Gregory? From memory I think he was the first person to win the Best In Show trophy.
"Nah!"

The first person to win best in show at the Nat's was Alan Tansley, with his 440-6 Cuda. - I think he is the only person to win twice (with his Hemi Charger).

Perhaps second person to win it then Jim? Surname was definitely Gregory - I remember seeing it on the shield when I won it twice too

Yep. Sounds about right.
At this price level this is what I would expect, I had just the same with my Roadrunner, some of the things I unearthed.......... but that's what it's all about, the fun of 'righting the wrongs' and rebuilding the car to your own standards and specifications......
