Well got to Scotts about 9 am with Kev and found Scott had fired up the stove , he vanished someplace and Kev an I got started with removing the bits inside whoever has a fast back will know how many trim bits there are to take out ! more than a ordinary motor !!!!!!
well bumper off , then the fast back bits loads of screws and spring clip thingy's , seats out then the carpet, oh yes and the drivers door and hinges , then on to the front bit , at least the bolts came out with no probs as they had been out about 8 years ago , front bit out that has the grill etc after kev and I had a struggle with the bumper forgot how heavy they are ! then front wing and there it is in all its glory !!!!
oh yes dropped the tank out as Scott got back and he ran for the grinder !!!!! sorry Alan but he was to quick !! cooked up some soup on the stove that I slung together and had some thing to eat , Scott started to get into the swing of things and fetched a club hammer , say one thing for him he did not laugh to much as the quarter came off !!!! all in all we thought it did not look to bad for a 68 that had been in england for all its life
more later when I find my camera !!!!!!!!

scott thought the floor would be rippled but its fine as I told him that when the guy hit me he missed the sill, and yes it is a very solid floor considering it has been here all its life but it was well undersealed from new just a few surface rust patches inside that will get done when we put it back together

Up and small one off to school scott and I jacked up the front end and put blocks under to keep it steady and safe ,next to do was remove the old door pillar and clean everything up, the spare pillar was stripped for the bits we wanted and tried in place a bit of tin bashing on the sill and hey it fits !!!!!! what we need to do next is to get the door on to line everything up with the rest of it !!

I think I might explain that the first pictures are of the section of door pillar that Scott got from the states, as you can see it is not flimsy by any means , some people used to say that yanks are only made of tin but these mopars are well built !!!
more pics !!! in case your wondering how we keep warm I made a log fire !!! makes good toast and heats soup up grand stuff !!!
