Line lock kits - which one

Post by Roger »

Ive got a customer car i need to fit a line lock to. However, ive never got involved in such things, so not really sure what to use.

Its a modern car so 4 seperate lines from the abs module to each corner.

It needs to be electrically operated.

Does anyone know what i need to buy? Any recommendations?

Sorry Roger, being old skool, I always use a good old manual hydraulic shot off valve, but lots of guys in the club use off the shelf electronic kits from places like Mancini's that aren't rocket science to fit.
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

I also swear by the manual one as I have seen problems with electronic ones.

I've used both the Biondo and TCI, never had a failure with either, both available from Jegs or Summit. Normally use the neat switch that fits around the gear lever from Hurst, which has also never let me down.

Speedflow used to stock both, but when I checked thier website they were temporarily unavailable. Real Steel probably carry the TCI.

All useful stuff, thanks.

Manual lock isn't going to work becuse i have 2 seperate front lines, but more importantly the customer is diasbled and needs it within reach of the wheel!
