made a big mistake last night, didnt shut the door to the workshop properly, tonight was in the back of my storage part and looked to my side and saw a pair of eyes looking at me (i nearly Bananarama! myself) good old mr fox just laid their waching me , think he was more scared than i was. now dont know how to get him out, i dont want to hurt him as he is a loverly creture but he cant stay there (unless he pays rent )
he seems more relaxed now, even posed for a pic or two
dont realy want to scare him Bananarama!, he is a realy nice creature and seems just laid back, he has moved himself round to be comfortable maybe i just leave the door open and hope he dosnt crap everywhere.
He won't hurt you, if he can let you get that close then he's not nervous, if he's not nervous he won't do anything spooky either. Be his mate instead, animals are much nicer than people anyway
Just leave the door open for him Trev, and put some food out every night. We give ours those cheap dog sausage things from Tesco. It needs protecting from the evil scum out there that would do it harm, so if you can give it a safe place for a while that is great. It won't crap in the shed but I am surprised if you have dogs that it came onto the property. They normally stay well clear of gardens with dogs. You are lucky though, if I left our shed open for our local foxes to move in I would probably only get the rats!
my garden is quite big, the wokshop is fenced off from the rest of the garden ( a dog free zone) i usualy have a fox on the workshop roof and he just lays there lookin into the garden. 3 big dogs but they dont seem bothered (maybe cos they are banned from the workshop ) it wont worry me him being there unless he causes damage or Bananarama! and pissis all over the workshop. maybe i can teach him to work a lathe
Trev Give the guy a call in Gt Wakering.
That fox might be unwell i will see if i can find his number.
He is always in the local paper, Wildlife rescue i think.
cheers steve, i left the door open and he has decided to leave, i think he was scared so didnt move, i dont think he was sick or injured, probably just cold and didnt want to be outside in the bad weather, one used to live in my compressor shed, maybe same one . i will however keep an eye out for him to make sure he is ok.
