Wildman's "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" Charger 440
Moderator: Moderators
Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll be gently cruising round in the charger after a successfull day changing my brake booster.
Helped Neil finish up the lower ball joints on monday which is what it failed its MOT on.
Here's a pic from Neils site of my engine bay(lower pic), a lot different from the pic that was on ebay when i bought it.(upper pic)

Thanks, got the booster in today.
Now got cuts all over my hands and my wrist is swelling up for a big bruise as I had to use my wrist for leverage once my hand was up between heater and steerin colum.
So glad when eventually the upper drivers side bolt sheared but not before undoing a couple of threads by an eighth of a turn at a time.
That job was a swine.
Had fun working out how the links went upon fitting new one too.
Neil then bled the brakes and I brought it home for MOT in the morning.
On the way I noticed the wipers wern't working, probably due to my messing about under the dash but a few dash lights have started to work where they didn't before!

All sorted and MOT'd this morning, a clean up of the bulkhead connector with some emery paper and a squirt of WD40 saw my wipers doing there jerky thing which was good enough for the nice man at the testing station.
Upto the post office for my free tax which felt great and then home, its too slippy to have any fun tonight so it'll stay here until some dry weather.
A Big thanks to Neil Willet (Wil) for being there with parts and advice and for all the hours fitting everthing from bearing shells all the way up the air cleaner and getting things like windows to wind down and trunks to open etc and so on.
He is a complete star and would recommend him to any of you in need of anything Mopar.
Thanks must also go to those members who sold me parts or who have bought parts recently removed from my charger.
It has all been worth the time, trouble and money and I look forward to some good hooning wheather.
