plex plate alignment

Can anyone advise on the correct alignment of the flex plate to the torque converter?
I had the impresion that the converter drain plug should be at a certain relationship to the plate.

It should only bolt on one way as one bolt is slightly offset.

Dave, do you mean one bolt on the converter is offset? I know it is on the crank.

just a little tip, if you're removing a trans / convertor, always mark one leg of the flex plate, and the convertor, so you can line up the vertor and flex plate first time when they go back in !

this works fine til ya get dunc to rebuild yer convertor and it comes back all new looking and shiney tho !
