I now this has been discussed before, but thread lost.

Whats the best or actually treats and stops the rust"if any" Thanks

I found the Dinitrol products sold by Frost Restoration to be VERY good.

I used various combinations of their products depending on the type of rust and if the finished result was going to be visible or not.

The rust converter I would use even after cleaning surface rust off areas going to be painted because it seals the steel surface with a hard epoxy type layer.

The cavity wax is good too.

Will Datsun started a very scientific test on this years ago, where he painted a load of bits of metal with a load of different stuff, nailed them to a board and threw them in a moist bush ( :shock: ) in his garden to be reviewed at a later date.

Anyone find the thread, or know where he's at these days?

I have had no success with POR15 everything I've painted with it is now rusty.......

What ever happened to Will Datsun's Rust Test? That was a promising bit of work was that. :?
