I used one on the '72 Charger for ages, when it came to swapping it I got a second hand one from a commercial breaker's yard from a 12v Iveco truck (both were physically smaller than stock). If you can find one with a black casing you can slap a Mopar Performance sticker on the top and noone need know

Better than that get yourself an ORANGE TOP OPTIMA, about ?140
and forget about it, they are fantastically powerful and maintenance free, best battery ive ever bought.
Stays charged all winter, no trickle charge for 4 years so far.... expensive but fantastic.

My local motorparts shop can get em, and i'd guess some of the performance places, try USA imports. Wil on this board.
I think Optima are Swedish or something

Optimas are great but NEVER let it go flat as they rarely take a charge from dead, I see this a lot.

Mine sat for 9 months in a garage, and spun the 12.5 motor over like it was fresh.
Never gone flat even slightly yet

Cool and that is proof your car has no drains
unless you disconnect it of course! but the warning is a fair one, they don't like going flat full stop.
They make a marine version which will take a from flat charge, can't remember the top colour though!
