I take it you have an outer drivers bumper support bracket also ?

HI David, sorry can't help with wiper blades thought I had 2 or 3 pairs of NOS stainless ones left but can only find one set (own use).

But do have a couple of sets of bumper irons but can't find ones I had shot blasted so will have to unbolt off bumper.

16" stainless blades were original fitment but most factors will stock 16" in black with a range of adapters.

Bloody ell Steve it's a treasure trove in that there garage.

I think I'm okay at the moment and most bits are there for the car, only other thing I can think are missing are both side interior trim panels under the dash. I've sent you a P.M ref the bumper outer leg.

Another damn silly you may think electrical question guys, the washer bottle I have this and uncovered two yet again snipped wires, where the eck do they join the washer bottle solenoid at ????

Really appreciate the patience and time you chaps are giving me on my rebuild as I said it's a jigsaw puzzle with the picture missing. I haven't even started on the silly fiddly trim chrome peices which I'm scratching my head at !!

Thanks,

David

as far as i can remember wires come from big plastic connector at the bulkhead and run direct to motor on the washer bottle........

will check

Where do they connect on the motor ?? there are no spade/terminal connections and with two snipped wires I can't see how they would have been attached and the manuals provide zero clues ?

Thanks,
David

Looks like I can answer my own question here, I took apart the motor which is as rusty as hell and lo and behold there appears to have been two terminals which didn't exit the casing as they have been snapped off, hence the reason why I couldn't understand where the wires joined.

Looks like I may need to visit Halfords and try adapt a universal kit for the washer motor.

damn forgot to look....

i might have a motor.......think they are a general chrylser part
washer bottle is Aussie specific in as much as it doesn't have a big chrylser logo embossed on it

but the motor is same as early 70s US

Let me know if you have a washer wiper motor Dave .....or if not anyone else ???

The washer bottle is fine hence motor is the only thing left, then thats the wiper/washers sorted as I intend to buy some halfords black wipers blades and spray up the arms black to match.

if so send us yer address and you can have a crack with this one

no idea if it works but as a bare minimum you can recycle the plastic connector and wires that bolt to the side and repair yours

Yep thats the monkey and my internals ref motor are rotten inside, hence reason it doesn't play ball.

Any chance you could attach a +ve and -ve wire, place the lug in water and see if it pumps ?
