Decided at the last minute to go down for a few runs today. Got there around 1pm and I left at 3.30, it was really quiet with no queues to worry about. Haven't got any slicks yet so I was on street tyres, a pair of real cheap Bridgestone Dueler HTS 275-60-15s. Great street tyres but the best 60 foot I could manage was just under 2.1 seconds . Best 1/4 mile was 12.4 @ 114.8, not bad considering the best I ever ran on Coopers was 12.3. The new cam seems to run out of steam a few hundred feet before the line but I should be able to make up for that when I get some slicks on the car because all the torque is lower down. I only went down to give the car a good run out after the winter but I'm pretty pleased with the way it ran. Weather permitting, I'll be back there in a few weeks on slicks.

Not many cars there at all Mick, there was a black pro street Mustang and the rest were mainly Japanese. Seemed to be a lot of bikes, I think a few bike clubs had arranged a day out.
I may look at retarding the cam later in the year, or even changing it.
Also trying to get hold of some 1.6 ratio ductile iron rockers for a bit more lift, think I might have some on their way over shortly.
