Know where you coming from Daveman, but remember the old stuff we know and love still only started out as everyday production cars.Dave wrote:The only thing this car lacks is character.
It drives lovely. It is very fast. It looks good.
But it just a car if you know what I mean? The only thing it really has going for it is that there are not many around these parts. So at least it is a bit different.
It's silver and it goes Vroom!MilesnMiles wrote:Dave, what's the spec on that car? I have no idea about modern muscle
Yes, they really are a nice drive and have superb performance - great bang for the buck! My mate had a C5 and now has a C6 and I've driven both. Until recently I had a 2001 Z28 Camaro with the same LS1 lump, though I added a set of long tube headers, which turned it from very quick to very lethal - far too easy to lose control of the back end, though lots of funDave wrote:The LS1 5.7 engine produces 350bhp which with the 4-speed auto trans gives getting on for 300hp at the rear wheels. From 2001 - up you also got a lot more torque than previous versions.
It moves well because it only weighs 3,245lbs. Top speed is 170mph.
Yeah but I might be a bit late. Depends what time I get me dinner.Dukerich wrote:You bringing it to the Metro Centre tomorrow evening Dave?
