'69 Plymouth Satellite

Post by Birdman »

Bought the Sat nearly 2 year's ago and have been steadily improving her ever since.
The most recent upgrade being a Dana 60 3.54 and hemi springs ( bought from Dunc, cheers mate). QA1 shocks from Jegs ( F&R) and Energy Suspension bushes ( W.A.S.P). Magnums from Vince -cheers.
Force ignition fitted with coil and dizzy- a 440 unit and Trev's adaptor for 383 use - nice work Trev.
Door mirror led lighting adapted and fitted to rear bumper to act as rear indicators, wires going through bolt hole that had been left empty as bought. Resistors from 777leds on ebay.co.uk.
A new vinyl roof became a necessity after standing for 2 days in 30+C heat at Shakey resulted in the old black one peeling off whilst driving back home!
Chris Vining at Customcoachtrimming.co.uk did the roof and fitted seat covers from Chris at mcmahonmopars ( got door cards too).

Still a little way to go finishing off interior and just making her useable.
Got the 440, B1BS's waiting too.
Happy days , sun is here
Chris

Looking good Chris 8-)

I reckon those wheels'n'tyres would have been better suited to a dark blue Satellite with a black vinyl roof tho...

Thanks everyone for the generous comments. It does look better in the photos than the metal though.
