Sorry to miss you too Phil. It's such a huge event - there were lots of friends there that I never got to see. Yes, my ride is on the "dark side" of Tony's bronze 69 Sport Satellite above. I have to say, I was glad of the a/c.

Stunning day. Ive never been since it moved from Brooklands.
The sheer numbers were amazing and the variety of cars was terrific.

There were two Aussie Mopes there (not mine I went in the FIAT 500)
and I was stunned when one of the traders had a 1:18th Aussie Charger E49. It is now mine !

I later saw three others for sale on different trade stands!!
Still I was happy paying half the price they are in Aus and no shipping or duty. :thumbright:

Brilliant day, brilliant cars, proper inspiration to get a car taxed and tested and back out there.

Hi Matt, I didnt know you were there too?! We bumped into loads of friends but missed loads too - shows how busy it was.

I saw that Aussie Charger model and thought it looked great, esp at £34 I think it was.

This company, wasnt it? http://www.trademarquemodels.co.uk/index.asp

I was tempted by the Rat Trap Altered they had on display...

bit pricey tho

I paid £45 from Millington Models, he says he has 3 left.
Jack found the same model later in the day for £32.50 but I was happy at £45 considering they are AU$199 in Australia.
The nappy cak yellow one was a bit more money I think, nearer £100, and I didn't want to steal Dave's chance!

Fabulous day, race replicas rock. Plans afoot maybe for pinky :-k

£100 thats 1/6 of a flywheel and clutch

once the car is sorted and i have a modicum of chance of snapping an axle

i'll be back to that stall

Nout wrong with a car the colour of a Cow and Gate nappy..... :D
