I'm finally starting the restoration of my charger after 2 years of ownership. My son Connor helped me move the car from the patio to the side of the house today where we can start work later this week.
I was really lucky with this one as my wife had been trying to talk me into buying another charger for ages. I finally decided she was right so I emailed Dunc to see if he could keep an eye out for a project and he came up trumps with this one. Nice one Dunc
Put some more stuff up then, ............. a Charger and an eager offspring to help? you gotta show us more Matt, dont ever think you got nothing to offer mate, couldn't be further from the truth
Ha ha nice one lads!
Will update soon although it is only stripped down.
I've spent a fortune on AMD panels but worth it I think as the quality is excellent.
I'm doing a loft conversion this year so very little will get done to charger but I am thinking of just sorting the mechanicals and get the body solid enough to pass an mot. Then just give it the rat look and drive it.
Great stuff Matt. Jack is now looking to help me with the Chally, he is twelve now. The body shell came back from the sand blasters the week before he was born
The youngsters are keen on the cars, all Jack's friends love seeing them.
They are the future of our hobby so its good to get them involved now.

Since these photos were taken Connors spare time is spent playing the Xbox or the Guitar so I fear I may not get much help from him after all. He did plead with me not to sell my last charger though so perhaps he'll buy a mope for himself one day. My other son Adam is into Camaros big time He likes most American cars but I think he may be a GM man when he's older.
That was nicked, er sorry, bought from round the corner from my shop, been in the owners place many times and hadn't got a clue he had it hidden round the back
