If you need the flexible ones made up Think Automotive in Twickenham will do them while you wait.

if you need solid lines made up the are easy to do yourself. If you need to borrow a brake flaring tool ans brake pipe cutter your welcome to use mine.

Ditto to Anton.
Just did all the lines on my Charger from tip to tail (new pipes, unions, armor-guard - as well as flexis.) Its not a bad job, so have a go.

Speak to these people for the parts you need (all the fixings, unions and 3/16 pipe) - 'automec'. Based in buckingham. Very helpful. Very knowledgable. Quality stuff. (http://www.automec.co.uk. You can get everything you need for the solids in one hit.

Regarding flexis - I got mine OEM style from 'inline'(?) - got a link somewhere (thanks to the twins) I will dig it out. They were about £100 for both fronts and the rear axle.

Take up antons kind offer of a flarer. I have a couple of benders you can use. Jobs a goodun :thumbright:

I was going to start a thread to ask a brake hose question but I may as well stick it in here.... if that's ok Dave, but it may help ;)

We got a pair of front brake hoses from Inline Tube in t'States, and now we've (ie Stu, again) has come to fit them, we've come across a little problem/query

The hoses are identical to each other but it looks as if they need to be handed to mount to the bracket on the caliper - 1 fits ok but the other looks to be 180° out

Only pic I've got to hand is this one showing the hoses...

Has anyone else got these hoses and managed to get them both to fit?

Unfortunately we havent got the original hoses to compare with; they got slung out a while ago :(

Ref sticky -
Nah, I put the old (more worn hence thinner) brake pads back in for now. Functionality is OK, but I know one piston is sticky on one side, so uneven pressure on a pad.

Currently looking at toyota route with Dave999 as an option. My logic being if I am going to muck about with them, them I might as well beef them up a bit.

I would like to explore this option - http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk but the $$ will prove prohibitive.

I have seen a wilwood kit somewhere, but this was really $$$ and overkill for my needs. Toyota conversion looking fave at mo.

Am I correct in thinking that standard Mopar/American brake pipes are 3/16" x 24 TPI UNF thread???

Thanks.

Mine were 3/16. ref thread - dont know - although not all fixings were the same size though - seem to recall front and rear were different sizes in the little distribution block thingy... Call to automec will tell you (as ivor says, kits on the shelf. Very helpful).
