thats him, I guess they must've sorted it by now, competitions tuff !, car was a bit of a lash up then, but had plenty of potential and sat nice.

Just got off the phone with Tim right this minute and he warned me this was coming :) ....no seriously, thats the only shot of the charger I've ever seen, my god did I look like that.........

Tim said that shot of the Mustang was from not long after I bought it, bit of a sorry state but cleaned up well, got rid of the sidepipes, virtually no rot though, I did get it resprayed in a similar colour with 2 white stripes, a la Shelby.....thanks for posting them up..Les

Picture 3, I got rid of that black jacket

The brown pistol grip car was the best yank I had really, wonder what it would worth today....£17k?

Good old car that, I had the auto trans rebuilt in that as it went on an outing with the smoke city boys....they towed me all the way home.
Just not the car for me after a while with the 318.........thats nasty what happened there.

Les, did you sell the Mustang to a guy called Dave Willoughby? I remember he had a red 65 K code fastback with a 4-speed and white stripes at the same time (c. 1982) that I had my red 66 A code 4 speed coupe. He subsequently bought a blue 67 Shelby GT350, which he still has.

couldn't tell you Adam, it was a one time thing, I didn't know him at the time, just bought the car and never heard again...apart from he called me back about 2/3 weeks later to say the clutch had gone and would I help him out with the cost, which I did, perfect when I sold it, but what with the abuse I gave it sometimes, and I guess thats the first thing he did, it gave up.

Yeah I did hear that it was changed to an auto etc., I'm wasn't really a part no./ original spec kinda person, but it should've been left with as a stick shift I think, not many around, I got on ok with it apart from once the when the linkage just seized at a set of lights, a quick tug underneath and it was ok.

Pucker Adam, bottom photo is a rare shot of it more or less as I bought it me thinks, was running 13.4's then, impressed me, took a while to persuade him to sell it if I remember. A few mods, not many, and 12.4's :)

I remember one time driving home from a meet down the M1 and I saw a lump of wood on the inside lane but was too slow to avoid it, only made it another 200ft and had to stop the car. Centre line had a big crack in it and a flat tyre, thought I was bu**ered, but hey, out came the Good year 10x28 and on it went, so, 1 4" on the right side, and 1 10" on the left, couldn't really feel much difference you know, made it home ok :)
