Anyone seen this before ??

I saw it for the first time at Gary`s picnic on Mick Gould`s Camaro

Basic principle is you have a dive tank of compressed air sitting above your nitrous. Compressed air sits at 2000 - 3000 psi which pushes the nos out of the bottle, always keeping it at a high enough pressure to use every last drop

You obviously need a dive air compressor for filling

Nano system. ;) , does'nt come without it's disadvantages , air shouldn't be used as a medium , steer clear.

I can see the problems with using nitrogen as a capping gas but this was definately compressed air ... looked a good bit of kit to me

We were contemplating using the NANO system a while back but decided it was cheaper to buy a couple of 80lb mother bottles along with a jig to invert for filling (loose around 20lb of nitrous when mother bottle utilises syphon tubes) , problem with the NANO system is ALL bottles require the NANO valves (expensive) other problem being on a hot day with bottle pressures around 950 & temp of 85 degrees any 'creep' in temperature can render bottle pressures in excess of 1050psi , purging down won't help as NANO system will maintain these pressures , only way to get the pressure down is to turn off push bottle & start over , pressures above 1050psi will cause rich/lean spikes all the way down track :help: .............................considering we filled our own bottles we took around ten 10lb bottles & four 15lb bottles to the track , once the bottles were half empty we changed them out , if using the NANO/PUSH system you gotta be real careful those bottles don't run out mid track , much rather a fuel pump went than a bottle run out.

Another downside with the NANO is you gotta empty bottles completly before re-filling , seems you could loose around 2lb of N2O per bottle if airing on the safe side.

Alan used to spray 300 shot down that 512 in the pits with no fuel. :shock: :shock: :help: :D

I`ll let you know if it`s any good .. I`ve decided to buy one and try it :shock:

Know what you are saying about wastage, but I may just factor that into the scenario ... would much rather have 2 full runs at 950 and lose a bit rather than losing pressure on my 3rd run trying to use my last drop

I have an old air compressor at work with a 6.5 hp honda engine that can run at 4500 psi, so will give that a good service and try my luck.
