Spent 9 months restoring this, drove it for a week then sold it to a guy from Germany! Was good fun though! :thumbright:

My first weekend toy at 21. Ran it alongside my Punto.

Image

Sold both (should never have sold the Capri, most fun car i've ever had) and bought this from Japan.

Image

Bought a fiesta to run alongside due to my work carpark not being in the nicest of areas.

Sold the MR2 and bought this....My last weekend toy!

Image

112Db of pure top down fun!

Sold it to pay partly form my honeymoon last year!

a few of my old cars I miss (there are plenty more I don't)

My V8 Victor. Spent years building this with all NOS parts, panels, bare metal repaint (not done by me), all mint and with a 350 SBC in it, TH350, 3.90 gears, ran like a raped ape. Looked BONE STOCK

I always swore I'd buy it back, but when I saw her for sale last summer I didn't. The love was gone.

I had this mad little 100E, someone else built it but I spent a lot of time and effort trying to combat the results of the next 4 or 5 owner's abuse and neglect.

Image

Image

It had a 3.1 Essex V6, rocket close ratio box, 4.10 gears, Capri legs, etc. Mental fun but lots of issues.

I used to know a girl or two like that LOL

1967 AMC Ambassador

Nice old bus with a 290 and RHD. I miss that when the sun is out. Should have kept it and put a 360 or 390 in it. :D

Cortina Mk3 - I've had a bunch of these but 2 stand out.

The white one I was offered back recently as it needs welding for going back on the road. But it was well sorted with a nice tuned 2.0 Pinto, poly bushes, low suspension, 6 dial dash, etc.

Image

I also miss my old 2 door, great car, got wrecked though and that was that.

I loved my Lexus too. The first one I had anyway

Image

Awesome comfort, performance (it was the 290 BHP VVTi version with 5 speed auto and the "dynamic handling package" - I got 15.1 out of it at Shakey LOL) but I couldn't keep it up the same way the previous owner had. £1000 service bills and all that. Erm, no. Had to go. I had a more standard spec Lexus LS400 after this that I paid a lot less for but it just wasn't the same

Image

Although it did great peg leg brake stand burnouts.

Image

I miss my Oldsmobile, but that thing kicked all the love out of me. The goddam trans. I think we had it in and out like 4 times and rebuilt twice professionally and the damn thing still leaked and wasn't right.

I miss my Rover P5B V8 Coupe too. Probably the classiest car I ever owned, and ever will own LOL

Image

It was gorgeous.

There were tons of others too. A random selection of photos of some...
