Hi all, I have just fitted today an 11.5 inch flex plate to the challenger, when I put the starter in I realized it wouldn't work because the hub behind the gear hits the flex plate, has anybody got a mini starter that will do the job. Ive now got the nightmare of moving my dodge challenge as a none runner tomorrow as its sat on an MOT ramp
All I want is a challenger that I cant break

I may be wrong but I thought the nose of a mini starter was the same as a full size one....there may be another issue here....

No Pete, its not the nose, its the drum behind the gear that hits the flex plate. We need a starter with just the gear. FBO do one, just wondering if anybody has one without me having to order a new one as car is now dead

Yes, just my luck Dunc. When we looked at 11.5 inch flex plates on the net for sb they stated can only be used with mini starter
