Prob only relevant to pre70 engines as 70 and up have different dia nipples (oo-er) in the water pump, so it's not possible to get your inlets & outlets mixed up. In theory.
Thought it might be of interest to anyone with half an eye on originality and the other half on connecting things up properly, as it's quite a common mistake to get them round the other way
