Great pics Ade, I looked out of the window Saturday morning, it was absolutely hammering down, so spent the day rebuilding a cylinder head instead...
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

I kept me eye open for you Ivor, met a couple of club members, Sunday was a pretty good day all things considered, the sunny break gave us a good couple of hours of old time drag racing, it was very cool :)

I know, I was monster impressed with that late model 'Stang, the blokes were well busting a gut trying to pack up before a mental downpour we could all see coming, never got a chance to ask questions, or even see it run.

Serious bit of kit that, forgot the time, well I don't want to miss quote is more accurate - was pulling like a train, terminal speed would of been impressive

Am I right in guessing that turbo installation in that Stang is similar to what you are building Mark?

Best get ya butt over to Orlando Speed World in florida for the world street finals then Ade.. that car would be average over there.
6`s everywhere at 220+ mph and if any one runs double figures......... well :help: done it 5 times and gotta get back there one day.. do the weekend, kip in the car and see the last chance qualifying at 1 in the morning (Sunday morn).. Talk about shoot or bust... the best!!!!!!! :thumbright:

Went down Sunday, great cars, although looking at the pics for Saturday on Rods n sods, looks like alot called it a day on Saturday. From what i can gather its already pencilled in for next year. A great event even though the weather was a bit pants, will be on a must do from now on along with Nostagias and HRDs. Didnt see Pete Walton run, only saw him leaving Sunday, think he damaged the front suspension on the car on Saturday. Might be a full weekend next year methinks 8-) .
