A top weekend! We pitched up about 10.00am Friday, passing through a couple of bouts of not so promising drizzle on the M1. Got the tents nailed to the ground and wrapped up ourselves from the chilly breeze and spent the day watching arrivals and saying hello to various people. We went up in the evening for a couple of drinks and the band but the wind wasa so cold,we soon retired to the tent where we had one of the coldest night ever!
Saturday was spent mainly watching the racing and getting sunburn, managed to catch up with the Swindon mob where I collected some pistons from Justin. Later crashed out until band time, went up for a drink, heard some good tunes absolutely slaugtered by some wailing over egoed female with a weak voice and an overloud drummer, frankly I've heard better buskers! Watched the fireworks and went to bed.
Sunday was a repeat of the previous day, lots of walking around, buying odds and sods that I might need and generally enjoying the whole thing.
I brought my new partner Viv who thoroughly loved the whole thing and can't wait for the next one.
Watch out for Jay who spent the whole time taking pics, over 1000 of them! He should be posting some on here with links to his flickr gallery later in the week.
Roll on next year!!!!

Phew.............what a weekend,mind scorching in every sence.
Is it me or did that seem like one of the best in recent times, anyway from the moment I arrived at 10 on the Thursday evening having driven with the top down all the way ,to be greeted by Andy Rob with a super chilled beer, awsome mate :thumbright: ,to leaving on Sunday afternoon it was fairly full on.
Racing was the best ever and the wheel standing event a great success too.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO MADE THE EVENT AMAZING.
Richard, Tim, Jim and the rest of the crew ,you know how much It means to us all to come to the event and have so much laid on for us and you did us proud ,organisation was the best ever and the mopar crew shirts was a great idea for those who were unfamiliar with the people and the process.
Thrilled that so many people loved my new car and was REALLY pleased that it should have got an award so thanks again.
Me thinks the cruise was the best ever this year and we soon packed out the car park with glistening gems from history both mopar and others .
So thank you to all those I met old and new, eventually got to met Miles and loads of others,Adrian your brother was a true gent..........and a fellow cougar owner too.Could go on but think I'm still bit fuzzy, gonna need a day off just to recover.
Fantastic ,fantastic,fantastic :thumbright:

Laughed so much we all got headaches

Nice to meet everyone, respect to all the guys who managed to make it despite financial issues this year.

Drew should get most travelled of an MMA member, all the way from USA

How much do I have to pay to not have the mankini pics put up.....
