Oz Chargers at the Nats

Post by Anonymous »

It was great to see Matt and Dave having so much fun on the track at the weekend, here's a little memento. I had waited for the point the cars launched but as usual the start line chaps got in front of the car and the shot ended up in the bin, so this is the best I got of that angle. Hope the lost keys turn up Matt!

That came out well Dave :thumbright: No surprise there tho :)

I was in the stands ready to take a panning shot of the two of them just after they'd passed the tree but cos Dave red-lit (i think that's what you said Dave?), they became too staggered and spoilt the shot

Amateurs

I noticed when they were running up the strip I had more than enough time to set my easel and create a detailed oil painting of the two cars... :geek:

Great fun this was!
Personal best of 16.4 at 86mph (sorry Les, not big numbers but good fun when running against a closely matched car)
2 cars, both with six pots and 4 speeds, 5 runs,
Dave won 3 I won 2 if you forget the red lights!

Cheshire cat grins all round, would have kept going but for the huge flat spot at 3/4 distance, not enough fuel me thinks.
Dave's big 4 barrel doesnt have that problem!
