Hot rod drags
Moderator: Moderators
Well, I have sent them a stinking email Wendy, as the whole thing just stinks. Even on the Hot Rod drags page of their site it says
'Where else can you expect to see period Flathead roadsters and coupes, 200 mph blown methanol injected hot rods, ground thumping dragsters, big blocked Fiats and classic blown Willys Coupes? At the Original Hot Rod Drags of course!'
Now, believe it or not, the big block Fiats are post 1972. The earliest is a 1974, the rest are 80's bodies. So here they actually plugging a big block 1974 car?! Why the Bananarama! can't Wendy get in then? I shall possibly be attending and if I see any post 72 car there I shall be questioning their methods again.

Wendy, you're too honest for your own good, like Dunc says, you go in say nothing, pay your money, sign on and race and if they question you just blag it.
Everytime i scrutineer my car, he keeps pulling me up on a couple of small things and i keep forgeting to do them, so i just blag him and he lets me off again.
Off the top of my head, I could think off at least 10 cars last year that were post 73 and i bet at least 5 of them are there this year and the other 5 probably would be, if there weren't a recession.
