YA know what Rich.I must confess I must be getting old it was about 36c or a bit higher but I left about 2 ;30 cause the heat was just sucking the life out of me ....but sure enough I get home and a message from a mate I won runner up......... :evil4: and this is the 4th or 5th time in a row,

I always lose to a blown hemi chally so no biggie,
but hey an award is an award and it is voted on by the people that entered cars so that is always a bonus :thumbright:

Yea that thing was a show stopper I had to wait about 20to 30 mins. to get a shot with out any people around,

all day people were looking at that car a stunner for sure :thumbright:

thanks :thumbright: a pity they put a sighn in the way and a stuffed toy :x a bit ott,must be a clean engine bay to stick a teddy in.Some nice darts there also,what was the price of that Green 73/75?

Yea I know the sign thing(It is more for inside shows ya knoe with glitter al over the floor)

,I have a sign made up and only used it once, it just seems to detract from the car,

and the A body for sale, I never looked at that, I was busy looking at the other body :angel12: :dontknow: :evil4:

I am not sure about the authenticity of alot of cars these days,if one has the funds one can try to make a "clone,dedication,replica" car but.........

If you look at the white 65 Coronet it has a 66 hemi motor,but if it were a true survivor things like the screws that hold the float bowls would have those old ones everyone stripped out,little details.......... ,

how ever they did put the 66 motor in 65 "race only cars" hence the 2 head light grille,that car too is a "replica" those bodies are still around and have little rust maybe had a smaller motor

and they turned it in to a hot rod is my guess so both of those cars ,seem to look the part, but due to resto it is hard to tell

i have a guy in san francisco that regularly offers me those early 2 door cars anythin from 500 to 2,000 bucks says there are loads off em about its only recent people want them ugly cars
