They had the dream rides running, and one of the guys owns a westfield with a tuned RV8 in!

I've not been in something that accelerates faster than that.

It was an absolute animal and was easily raining in the Murcialago he was playing with.

Made me giggle like a schoolgirl rather than a quivering wreck.

Sounded good too!
A well tuned v8 can cure most ailments :D

Yep......a decent V8 is the best tonic for the blues/life!

hahaha thats funny !!
i repaired & painted one of them some years back !! guy raced it in the caterham series or similar ?? !! he spun it & it went into a tire wall back wards !! , sure it was brandhatch or might of been lydden hill , had a full race four pot twin cam rover K motor in it ! he said it was 250 bhp might of been 215 ?? though it was a bit high , but don't know much about them , street legal any way he took me out in it , once i squashed in , ! quick !! but seemed much faster because its low to the ground !! !! no roof & stiff suspension !
anyway i'm rambling on now but ,
this bloke was into bikes also , & done track days with a tweaked R1 , i painted some fairings , tank bits & bobs , not up on bike part names !
in chatting he said once i build the R1 back up , i'll take you out on it ! i said yeah that be good !! as you do ! ( but secretly hoping it would not happen, had a ride on a quick bike years before, wish hadn't!! ) he turned up one dinner time with a second helmet  , well i could not back out now !!
managed to squash my self on the back of this bike , & held on for dear life !! bloody hell !! did not know if i was going to be sick , have my heart come through my chest !! , just felt like jumping off , thats guys face in the video Dave posted was nothing compared to what mine must of been like , my legs were like jelly , :pale:

I've had one of the worst weeks of my career this week so that's cheered me up a lot Dave - thanks.
