Hello
Hey guys and gurls. Having had a nosey around the forum, not sure where to say Hi, but I'll have a go in here..
Have joined the MMA after recently purchasing my 1st yank, a 1965 Chrysler Newport 4 door pillarless. Yeah yeah, I know it's a 'more door', but with 3 kids I've always wanted something a bit more practical, and I like to be a bit different anyway.
Don't know if it's known to any of you guys on here, it's a sandy yellow(?) 383ci auto - reg HCX54C. From what I can see, it's been here since 1991, spend some time up North and I bought it from a guy closer to the coast from me (I'm in Norwich). Don't have much in the way of history apart from a few scrawled receipts from CasAm in Castleford dated 2006/7. The car seems in fine fettle mechanically (the guy I bought it off had bough it from his mate, a mechanic previously), as does the interior - the body seems sound but could do with a bit of tidying here and there. There's only a couple of issues with it currently - the speedo doesn't work and the driver side back window doesn't wind down - hopefully get these sorted fairly easily.
Anyways, sorry for rambling on a bit, but looking forward to getting to know people on here and sharing my experiences with you, and hopefully benefitting from your knowledge too. Proper excited about getting my 1st yank after hankering after one for so long!
