just got a paint chip chart off eBay for the Rambler, its not a manufacturers one its an R-M one. Under each colour chip is the manufactirers name and code then another number which I presume is the R-M code.
So my Ambo was originally Bahama Blue Iridescent Metallic, P37. Under this it says A-1889 which I think is the R-M number. If I went into my local paint factors and quote this number whats the chances of me getting the right colour?
Anyone done similar to get the right colours for their Mopar?

No wonder I can't find it!
I've got Rambler P37 Elmhurst Green 1962
Nash Rambler P37 Willow Green 1953
Rambler P37 Sunglow Amber Metallic 1966
Rambler P37 Sungold Metallic 1967
I can only find a 1963 Rambler Bahama Blue with a P44 code, so there's an email off to the technicians at R-M in the States to match that A-1889 code...I hope your memory's OK mate!

As good as my word! Here's the formulation for AMC P32, as promised. This is the original, direct from the States so it's ideal for an all over respray.
If you need a match for a spot repair, let me know and I'll bring my colour matching kit to the Nats.
...and that goes for anyone who needs a paint match.
Mopars free of charge, other makes must make a donation to the MMA!
