I have a 74 Dart Sport i can measure if you like. Be aware that the 74 models have fat bumper guards front and rear which effect the overall length. 197" total i think is what mine measures in length. Happy to check for you.

Miles, I'll appreciate if you can check today, if possible. Bumper to bumper please. I can borrow a trailer from somebody, but he has no idea of the car's dimensions, or if it will fit.
Thanks!!

Roel allow a good 203" for length. The overiders on the bumpers do stick out quite a bit and the book dimensions often miss this. I did and it stuck 10" out of my garage
6' wide inc door mirror. The mirror does not stick out wider than the body line anyway.
I believe the swinger has the same floor pan by this year but earlier Darts were longer.

Thanks Trev, I've sent the info to my man in the states, looks like the trailer is ok. I'll be leaving next week to get the car to the shippers, going to tow it , 18 hour drive to Housten
