I was a kid in the seventies, but I was into cars by then!

Here's my brother Phill and me (with the turn ups and brothel creepers) with his new Corsair...lovely! :thumbright:

Blimey, Ivor! 118 118! :D

You two look the dead spit of each other.

I remember building those old Go karts Budge is on about. Down the tatters for a set of pram wheels with my mates, steering with the feet on a plank and that itchy blue rope to hang on to. Ace! :thumbright:

There is a Grifter in me Mums shed and a Chopper all in bits in my garage. Brilliant bikes. :thumbright:
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

MOPAR - Move Over Power Arriving Rapidly

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My Mopar upon you

I thought the shot was pure seventies, don't know about nervous Dunc, but it was a habit I developed that ultimately buggered my ankles!

my one of my mates had one of them in the late 70s sure of it !! yellow tank though

first bike i had was a tomahawk in the late 70s , then a grifter , , few other mates had choppers (bikes) !! same time i had a grifter another mate had a striker looked similar but smaller , swapped bikes as you do one day !! nearly killed my self on the striker , found out when you pedel back wards it locked the rear wheel up ! big crash
then went to a bmx , was always taking it apart changing stuff sprockets wheels , brakes !
then went on to a racer ( course this was long before mountain bikes), they were the most uncomfortable bike ever !!

Dave
:D Yes that was when belts and watch straps had to be as wide as possible.

And to be fair those were not my best-ist jeans because I was just about to help my Dad mix some concrete.
