Come on the lads fess up who is going slightly OTT with em,don't think i have fineshed yet this is just stupid haha.

mostly bought from amazing fireworks in london off the north circular, they get supplied from brother pyrotechnics,i just feel the quality of there products cannot be touched especially at there prices

8 barrages equaling 688 shots
5 cakes equaling 252 shots [including a 107 shot finale cake]
36 rockets including two KING rockets

Hopefully get my electronic firing kit soon for the barrages and smaller rockets i have, there is a shop in town that does a 4000 shot barrages cake buy one get one free

I know i don't have to say it but just be carefull out there at this time of year, people do get hurt and i have seen them get hurt

Personally I think fireworks should be banned and only used under license by professionals. :P

Yeh,and while we are at it all cars that can go over 70mph should be banned too! Some people cant control them so no one should be allowed to one one.

Really bad analogy Trig.

One of the problems is gangs of teenagers setting these things off all over the place all night every night for weeks. Around out way the Police have been called to the old peoples home on the edge of the park almost every night due to the fireworks being set off right outside the old folks bedrooms.
But when the Police turn up the kids just run down into the Dene where you could just about hide an army.

But there are many reasons why it is not a great idea to allow explosives to be sold out of corner shops to just anyone. If I made my own small explosives at home I would be arrested and put in jail. Yet a tall 14 year old can go in a shop and buy them over the counter???

Something very wrong about that.

Around out way the Police have been called to the old peoples home on the edge of the park almost every night due to the noise at all hours, not to mention the 70+mph drag racing through he town and all the crashes and people getting hurt/killed and right outside the old folks bedrooms.
But when the Police turn up the kids just park the cars up or escape in different directions.

Fireworks should obviously not be sold to everyone but to have the sale of them restricted to Specialists only is punishing the majority of the population for no good reason. Those that abuse them should be held accountable. Its the same with Guns, the reckless actions of the few ruin it for everyone. Thankfully in Norway the lefties dont always get their way and Gun ownership is much much easier! Im in the process of buying a Semi-Auto Shot Gun!

Fireworks, yes love 'em,brought up with Dad doing ours every year. But these days why would I want to spend £100-£200 on around 5-10 mins worth of fun when I can pay to go to a display for around £15?
