That is sensational!

That is the sort of inspiration I need to get the current projects sorted so I can restart my Mopar career with a clean sheet...love it. ;)

318 is quite strong inside..just small on bore thats why people never do much with them. A proper prep..decent heads/cam and they'll make good hp N/A, as someone on here has done.....But this is a good idea with a Turbo.....still plenty of spare blocks everywhere I would imagine?....just the expense of the parts and efi etc...bit of a sleeper really with 318ci written on the car. :thumbright:

Still think an R5 block with P7 heads with a couple of turbo's, would make an awesome package, just waiting for someone with a bit of wedge to do it :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

I can't see the point in spending a lot money on a 318.
It doesn't have much going for it in the first place.

Jim in another thread I posted a link to one making 500 rear wheel HP. Replacement 318 blocks are as cheap as chips. Very strong engines. Loads of room around them in the engine bay for turbos or whatever and plenty of space for air circulation to get shot of the heat.

Agreed, might not be up to much in stock form, but with a turbo.........................
