Post by Steve »

Hi, anyone know where I can get a set of black rubber original or repo original style front and rear floor mats for my 68 Polara sedan (auto column shift). 68 Monaco sedan mats should also fit. Only thing needed to finish off my interior,

Many thanks,..... Steve

Ps. I ve tried legendary, dantes etc etc no luck

Thanks for info!.... Ive seen these mats at Dantes Mopar but they only have green and blue. They reckon they wont fit my Polara but I notice on the link you gave me, they are listed as fitting but out of stock. Year one have them listed in black so have emailed to confirm fit etc. Love how ghey list them at 60 dollars more than everywhere else! Always a worry importing bits that may or may not fit.....200 dollars for mats, prob 60 to post, customs ALWAYS stiff me so theres another £40 for the pleasure, expensive mats!! Will see what year one come up with. Ive made some from black auto carpet and have masked and glued rubber inserts for now. Looks ok but would just like that authentic look just to finish interior off

Thanks again

Hi Steve, I'd be interested to see what you/Chris comes up with as we've been after some original-looking rubber mats for our earlier Polara for some time :?

If I get some I will post a picture for you with some dimensions etc. Ive searched and was told by Dantes in States that the black had been discontinued and many places list them for A, B and E bodies. The link that was posted on this thread lists them as universal for most Mopar bodies, including my 68 Polara. Jegs in States may have them and Chris is getting back to me later after he has spoken with his suppliers. Most places have them in green and blue but not black. Dante Decarlo at Dantes mopar parts doesnt think the green or blue will be suitable for dying black...... Keep u posted,

Cheers Steve
