Thanks for that Nick..very informative, thats the impression I got when I read on the US forums...cheers....LesNick wrote:I dont think Muscle Motors had built (m)any King Crates before they advertised them, certainly nothing that ran on pump gas and made the numbers. I ordered the 622 in December '09 and by May '10 it had still not been built able to dyno the numbers advertised. I stuck with MM and did a deal on a 572 which turned out ok and must make close to what the dyno said.
MM have a good rep and build some very good (fast) engines and shouldn't be judged on one that didn't go so well. It would have been very easy for them to build it, find it didnt make the numbers and ship it off to forgein climes.
I met up with Mike Ware in Vegas last year and dont think I bought a drink all night (no change there then). He seemed genuinely sorry and even offered to p/x the 572 for another 622. I'd definately use them again.
Bit like when buying a BM, base price seems OK, but by the time you have added all the extra , soon mounts upLes Szabo wrote:I guess if you had a bit of extra "wedge"....you'd go for the small 596 w/advertised 1150hp?....predator headed mtr.
