Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins

Post by Alex »

Sadly the great man passed away today.

A true innovator for the sport I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him as well as those who learned of him and his career through the years.

There is going to be one heck of a race up there tonight, I bet Ronnie Sox is warming that Hemi right now, listen for the thunder!

R.I.P. Bill

A true legend, started out racing Plymouths then switched to Chevy and pretty much became THE chevy engine Guru at least as far as drag racing goes. I've always remembered one of his quotes, when checking out a pair of 340 T/A heads he said,"If I had to race with those heads I'd get into another line of work"....

Yes Kevin Pilling owned Satans Toy. To my knowledge Bill Jenkins never raced in europe.
