Help needed with silver trim paint

Post by Steve »

Hope everyone ok and lookin forward to cruising over next few months....

Hope someone can help with this.... Anyone know what the silver grill insert paint on some mopars is called and where I can get some in a spray can???

I remember vaguely reading an article somewhere in the past describing it as 'argent' and I think was used in silver shaker hoods etc. Is this potentially the same as the grill paint on my 68 Polara?

Any help appreciated,

Cheers, Steve

It is called argent but there's more than one shade.

Thanks Mick, got to try to find something in a spray can that matches my paint so your link is a great start!! Cheers

Think some people use Eastwoods rallye wheel paint in argent so got to do a bit more research and see if this matches there or thereabouts the colour in the link you posted

Cheers Steve
