Big yellar n' large!

Post by MilesnMiles »

With apologies to a certain red (defunct?) Coronet...
Here's my 1976 Dodge D200 pick up, 318 2 barrel, 727, big Dana axle with deep gears (3.55 -4.1?).
Saw this advertised just before xmas and bought it blind over the phone from an ex Mopar guy up Rutland way. John Connolly bought the truck down to me a couple of days before xmas at what can only be described as a 'mates' price. Many thanks for that Jon!
It's nice to wake up and find yer new Mopar parked outside on a low loader!

A few months later and i'm really enjoying the trick, been nice and reliable, plenty of filler masquerading as the lower doors and outer sills  , but at such a cheap price I cant complain. The chassis is solid and just about everything works now, just a few electrical issues.
I stuck a nice steel tool box in the back and now cruise around Newquay scaring tourists and amusing my sons mates.
These trucks are good value no silly prices and lots of fun!

Hi guys, the spotbwherenthe photos were shot is Litle Fistral, one of my face places anywhere, great waves and secluded beach. Looks like the Minack Steve, but it's actually the municipal toilet block and sewage treatment works
:o , not quite as salubrious as the Minack!

Won't be taking the truck to the Nats, too much Argo to cruise at 50-60 mph all the way, it has very deep gears.
As for the Grand National, who knows, got a quote on a reprint today ;)
