You reckon Ade?, apparently their handing out oars with every sign on this weekend and all the marshalls now have to be PADI certified in case a car ends up on its roof ;)

I went up to do the first round and get some of that good yorkshire air, total waste of a weekend. Had problems with the car before loading, got there, it was raining, it dried out so i did a couple of runs, track was rubbish, the car was running like a bag of Bananarama!, some guy almost kept up with me in his low 12 sec civic, looked real chuffed with him self, i also got pushed back twice because of oil dripping, which they were very fair about, so no argument there.

Dont mean to sound negative, as 2/3 of my problems that weekend had nothing to do with the track. We only have 3 strips in the country, they all need support, be a real shame to lose one and if i had more spare cash i would go this weekend as well.

Id love to come up and run there....
it sounds (not having been there) a bit like North Weald is,
track was mostly an aircraft runway during the week, a quick dust off and it was a drag strip at the weekend.

Could never get the Cuda to hook up there or even the GN for that matter.

What are the strips then Mick ??
