i see what you mean steve, look at the 427 maverick (riever) the roof of the beaver tail is level with the cars front bumper

Also the contrapsions they used to shift the race cars, super steep angle of the ramps and ramp materials
Those wheels were discontinued due to some sort of failure,not sure why but I kind of liked them when I was young and tried to no avail to get a set

Paul from Paul's performance parts had them on a 1972 383 Road Runner back in the early 1990's HE swapped them for a set of magnums that I had can't remember what happened to them think they went missing when I lost the garage that I was renting. Wish I had a pound for everything that I had that is worth money now I would be rich.

I like 'em, especially the one piece magnesium ones they made for Pro Stock, now those are rare....
