the MMA at the Classic Car Show November 16-18 2012

Post by Ivor »

Yes folks, we've done it again and managed to secure another big, long stand at the Classic Car Show at the NEC!

It's right by the visitor's entrance in Hall 12, bang opposite Milkcow magazine, the ACE cafe and Classic American magazine. The Mustang Owners Club, the Classic Corvette Club, the pre 50 American Car Club, the AAC the NSRA and the VHRA are all with us in Hall 12, so it should be another cracking show.

The stand is 13 feet deep and no less than 90 feet long, so I think I'll be looking for some C bodies this year!

Anyone who may be interested in getting their car on the stand (I'm sorry to say it will be at you're own expense, we don't have the money to pay for petrol, transporters and five star hotels!) please let me know by posting here or sending me a PM or email with details and some pix and I can put you on the list.

Over the years we've found that a variety of cars goes down best so all comers are welcome, just try not to crash 'em or blow 'em up at the Nats first!

And we've got some new members with some nice 4 doors too!

Would be nice to see a certain 68 Polara on there maybe?

Dead right Martin, there are some "big" Mopars out there that need an airing!

Thanks Pete, I'm waiting for the NEC "theme" to see if we can join in...as long as it's not the Olympics, I don't mind!

I'm hoping to get the 72 Dart up and running over the next few weekends.
If successful and i can get it going you more than welcome to put it on the stand Ivor.

Won't be offended at all if its not what your looking for, as its the opposite end of the scale to cars like Derek's etc.......

When i get it out I'll be taking photos for the resto thread as a starting point.
Dave Tildesley.....MMA-081

73 Plymouth Duster - SOLD
