Putting that new lens to good use.
Love that one of Jem. The many faces of a racer. Guaranteed at least one like that at every meet.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Hey Rob, I finally got bored enough to watch long enough that we got away at the same time for a clean race. I think I had ya.

Yes Rob
You can get some nice shots for down there, but I made the mistake of wearing some long shorts on the saturday and by three oclock the back of my legs were red raw and all blistered
I made sure I was covered up on the Sunday but I only had some black trousers and a black t-shirt so I cooked well

Excellent shots Guy.
While you were roasting at Shakey, we were roasting in Brooklands...great to see Mick's Dart grabbing some air, that's hooking up good and proper!

No Jon that was Cliff Turner in his new Dart, not to shabby for its second shake down run.
Anyhow where did you get to...

Didn`t get there ... still got too many " issues " with mine
The engine and box are out now : new convertor, flexplate, freeze plugs etc etc then can give it a proper run
Good times on the Dart Cliff

I was on a good run against Cliff but had to get out of it because the car was our of shape, it was a new best 1.41 60ft, i reckon it would have been a 10.20 pass in 80 degree heat, next run which is the pic that Guy took, i had a bit of misfire so it only ran 10.91, so i called it a day but good weekend, met all the usuals and a few others as well.
Just to say, i think Cliff's car has got a 9.50 in it at least in good weather.
