indicator side repeater question

hi guys, greeny here , with a question thats really bugging me, i have a 68 rhd fastback barracuda , imported to uk in feb. 68. will this car need side repeator aindicator lamps for mot? all info. greatly recieved

NO.
Its not til mid 80s or later that they are needed.
I cant quote act and section but can look it up at work

Well well well someone else has a RHD cuda !!!!!!!!!!!!!! thought they were all gone for good............................................... not mine though

hi matt, thanks for your rapid reply ,that helps a great deal .it willbe one less job to tackle on what i feel will be a long list. car is booked in next wednesday at rodley motors in bradford.bit nervous as its my first mot with the car, having said that i bought the car from a professional mechanic who also was an mot tester ,should be no problem then! i will let you guys know how i get on thanks for your time lads , yours greeny

Same deal with a rear fog light when it comes to the regs.

And hazard lights. They ask me every year on the Charger where mine are, it's nice to be able to say "Doesn't need them".

Not needed til 74 I think, again would need to look it up.
I remember my Hillman Hunter was a 74 and that had them , but clearly Hillman had to bodge something in a hurry as it was a seperate switch away from everything else.

hmm may get away with it then, but i still want mine working as i have the switch for them!

Like to see there is a few rhd barracudas in the club... if I ever get to any of the meets I may get to see one or two of them.
