The big dogs say this is the best race car ever built in the UK.....Restored and ready to run at Dragstalgia :thumbright: So many bits were custom made ,to make the engine compatable with the inlet and the gearbox...Grumpy said it was a feat of engineering just to get it to run ...

Love the patina on the transporter, is it regularly parked really close to a big sheet of wet 'n' dry?

remember the name...and also another name that stuck in my memory in the 80's was Russ Carpenter...along with a few others like "Hemi Hunter", Mr. Shifter 383ci altered......I'm sure you'll remember them Pete.

Russ was another pioneer in his day, I seem to remember he was at Wheels day a couple of years ago

Mr Shifter was that the B1 Motor, didn't he switch to Pro Mod in the Calibra, Mick ?

Lovely bit of kit.

Still a 2.5???

Stock ones use Triumph Bonneville pistons :shock:
