Hi Chaps,
I hope you 3-0n-a-tree guys can help me.
I recently dropped the steering column on my 73 satellite to remove the dash. Now that the dash is back and the column bolted back up I am unable to to engage park and the gear select indicator is inaccurate.
I have had the column on and off again 3 times but have been unable to improve.
I am loathe to mess with anything else as I am certain only the column has moved
anybody got any ideas?

Something on the linkage has moved Brian, does that year has the interlock that stop you taking the key out unless it is in park?

Hi Alex,
Yes, it does have the interlock, but luckly I am able to get the key out.
I have to put it in neutral though to start the engine.
