Walworth Castle show Sunday 15th July

Post by Dave-R »

I've not been to any shows this year so far due to each one being cancelled for one reason or another up to now. So my fingers are crossed for this one.

Walworth Castle is just off the A68 and A1 near Darlington. http://www.bw-walworthcastle.co.uk/

There are positives and negatives for Sunday.

Positives:
All of the cars will be on hard standing so no messy fields to negociate.

Negatives:
Pre-entered exhibitor numbers are low, I suspect people are hedging their bets while looking at the weather.

If the weather turns awful the show may be cancelled. Having said that I've just checked the forecast for Sunday and it's looking like sunshine and showers, by Fri/Sat we'll have a better idea.

Conclusion:
This is the first ever show at this venue and it'd be nice to support it. The organiser is a member of the NEACC who run Fins and Chrome so my guess is that he's tried to put something on due to this year's Fins and Chrome being cancelled.
