Yes - what I thought

Dont want to mess too much with the engine as I have only just got the car back and its running great

Thought a pair of slicks and some more practice may get me into the 12;s (id settle for that!)

Its a 440 engine and rebuilt 727 auto box with shift kit, 8 3/4 posi rear end, with 3.55 gears. Mopar performance .590 cam, 906 worked heads, aluminium single plain intake manifold and a 770 vac sec Holley Street Avenger, cast aluminium valve covers, 1-7/8" Headman headers into new 2.5" exhaust system

Thats all the spec I have - not sure about the converter

all advice most welcome as always :)

You might have been better with the .528 cam, the .590 is quite a high duration cam for your setup. It likes comp, converter and gear and with all due respect you lack all of them.
I run the same cam in my 440 Dart.
