Chris Evans car fest

Post by starsk's »

Hi guys
Just putting feelers out we have club invite, which we can convert to mma we have 7 passes for Saturday and 7 for Sunday August 25th and 26th at a cost of £450 divided by the group £64 each we wondered if there would be any interest in joining us to spread the cost ? It's at leverstoke park the camping is £100 for a tent Thursday to Sunday so we have enquired the rate for Saturday night only, obviously local accommodation would be available
Any one interested ? So 5 other cars needed

Ps £120 is donated to children in need

Got tickets anyway, but be good to see others there.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Think its cos he has quite a lot of friends in the classic car scene (Nick Mason, Jody Schekter etc) and also in the music scene so he uses these contacts to host a yearly ( twice this year) get together to raise lots of dosh for charity. I would love to go, his ferrari collection is fantastic (inc James Coburns £5.5m car), Nick Masons cars are awesome and Texas, Ocean Colour Scene and a few others are playing.... Will be a scream but Ive blown most of my dosh this year on paint, tyres, fuel, nats etc so cant go unless its as cheap as Starskys plan... Shame really, only needed seven cars... We could have really flown the mopar flag at a big national event!
