Mick we have all seen big hitters turn up at the track on a trailer and at the end of the meeting go home again having never put a hard pass in.

Either that or make Lez's day and bolt a bottle in your Dart ;)
It won't exactly make my day, but I just like to see someone perform to their max and maybe win something, a measly 150hp kit should propel that car to 9.6's, or better, wouldn't a nice trophy and/or some wininngs in the brackets be nice?...for the sake of principals you'll miss out on all that.
However I understand that with the gearing/tyre size/rpm's Mick could be in the same situation as I was, overreving with N20 when I stepped up to 175hp, but you gotta try no?

Thats me last try

I'm assuming you mean handling Dunc, i've just dropped the back another 1-1/2" with lowering blocks, so we'lll see.
If you mean engine, i would agree there as well, i think a stock RB block is maxed out at 650 hp, not that mine makes that much. :)
Tell me about the pinto, or is it a big secret.

You could be right, and the fuel system would need a complete redesign. Mind you they do run 650hp+ through SS springs ok....

A good back half/ladders/coils/14x32's, 2 pumps, 2 lines and a 175hp shot should see that car run in the low 9's one day.....eh?

hi mick

yes i meant a hit with gas might make your car go wandering like a Bananarama! my chally does i just let it drive the long way down the track,

the pinto is no secret i hope its a high 11 sec street car, but its on mickey t drag radials i have never got on with them, and no linelock to boil the hides now thats no problem to me i can sidestep it and break it loose in the bleach box and do a good old rolling burnout
but its for my girls to race so i am going to be worried sick when they go for it we tend to forget how fast this sort of car leaves the line my girls have been used to Bananarama! corsas and stuff like that no rear drive cars,
i will give it a good working out first to check its safe for them.
i love the little bugger they might have been a Bananarama! in the day but i reckon they are right handsome as racers,
