i am ashamed to say i actually like the tc marina, as a kid i always thought they sounded brilliant, what a difference an exhaust can make, yes very good turnout,
As a kid  First car I owned was a T.C Marina. It was my Dad's and failed the m.o.t with a hole in the floor. He gave it to me under the condition I got the work done properly & got it m.o.t'd where he went. Piece of biscuit tin & 40 rivets later with a dollop of that tar you used to put under your car & I had a road legal 1.8 T.C. When the insurance man called around from the Pru he put it down as a 1.3 . Who was I to argue  That was when I was 17 back in 83 :thumbright:

Same engine as the MGB,but does sound better in the Marina. Mate had a TC and for it's era it's a fairly quick car. Exhaust note may be something to do with siamese porting.
